Girl’s Night Out

March 6th, 2011 lanepo14

I will say that despite being at school is fun, there are some things that I incredibly miss about being at home. I miss being with my friends from home and I miss having their company. One tradition that my girl friends from home would do is that we would go out to eat at this Japanese Habachi restaurant. This past weekend, my girlfriends (from school!) went to a habachi restaurant and saw the movie “Just Go With It” featuring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

Although we went to a habachi restaurant it will never be the same as my going with my friends from home. My home-girls and I would normally dress up to go out and then eat at the restaurant. Afterwards, we stopped by the local coffee shop and maybe get some desserts or coffee and head back to one of our houses and watch a movie. It was a pretty simple evening but the real happiness of those adventures was among the conversation and company of my friends. I’m not trying to insult my girlfriends at school, but let’s be honest- no one can replace my friends from home, period.

As for the evening with my girls from school, I will say that it was slightly amusing when some friends of mine (anonymously speaking) thought wasabi was guacamole and ate the entire ball of wasabi. Bad idea! Wasabi is very spicy and eating it like it’s guacamole is highly NOT recommended by me. As for the movie, I will say that Adam Sandler romantic comedies can get pretty old, but this movie was pretty unique. I thought that the jokes were pretty in depth and they developed even more throughout the movie. I guess that touch sort of added more a natural humor of “inside” jokes that everyone, including the audience who watched the entirety of the movie, can understand.

This is just a quick weekend update, hope you enjoyed it. I love my girl friends (and guy friends) from both home and school!

I spy in my little eye something happy.... very, VERY happy. 😀
